1998 TB Gelding

15.3 HH Bay

Dylan was a school horse for me for 5 years but decided that jumping just wasn't his idea of fun anymore. He got a nice winter off to goof around with friends before starting his next big adventure as a Dressage Horse! Dylan spent a year in Washington and was purchased by Jen this spring! He is adored by his new mom and she keeps me updated on their adventures together!

1984 Morgan Gelding

14.3 HH Bay

Memphis has been a staple in our program since he came over from Colorado with his owner, Jeremy, and his brother Rollie. Being the husband trail horse and retired former EVERYTHING horse just didn't include enough attention for him! He has taught our students how to post, steer, canter, and jump with an unwaiveringly good attitude. Sadly he must travel to Longview, TX with his Mom, Dad, and Brother. We'll keep everyone updated on the antics he gets into down in the Lone Star State!

1992 TB Mare

16 HH Chestnut

Willow came to us last fall to be our new school horse. She decided that sharing her riders was not her thing! While being a sweet kind mare she really seemed to miss having her own person and so this past spring after finishing OHSET with a student, she found her new girl! Willow is off to live at home with her new girl and participate in 4H and be spoiled!

2003 Mustang Mare

14.3 HH Snowflake Appaloosa

Willow was leased to us by her owner for 2 years providing our program with wonderful lessons and fun. She was a school horse favorite being a pony, an appaloosa, AND a mustang, along with a very sweet personality. She was leased and then purchased by one of our long time adult students. They still train with us at another barn and will be moving to her owner's retirement home next year with her new brother, Jury!

1995 Appendix QH Mare

15.2 HH Bay

Lady came to us from Washington. She has done a little bit of everything and is a great addition to our program. She is a great intermediate horse steadily helping our riders fine tune their flat work! She's getting fit and learning the ropes of being a school horse and enjoying all the attention! She is limited to flat work with only occasional jumping because of arthrtis but has two great lessors currently enjoying her sweet personality.

Thoroughbred Gelding

16.2 HH Fleabitten Grey

At the end of 2011 we said a very sad goodbye to our beloved Dublin. He did his job as a school horse with enthusiasm! He went very peacefully without any pain after suffering a stroke. He was happy until the end still begging for treats and interested in why all his favorite people were around. He will be greatly missed by all those who rode him and his eager nickers for treats and bright eyed look when you started his way will forever be remembered. Gallop on Dublin, in the green pastures of the hereafter!

Welsh Pony Mare

13 HH Grey

In the early spring, Sugar passed on to greener pastures after providing a lifetime of memories for countless little girls. She was a loving little pony who taught all her riders confidence and how to give a good cuddle to a pony! She leaves behind some very big pony shoes to fill as another ever eager and happy face will be missed in our aisle.

1984 Mustang Gelding

15.2 HH Liver Chestnut

At the beginning of 2015, we said a tearful goodbye to our beloved Ochico. He was a foundation horse for the past 6 years and taught many kids even before joining Iron Horse RA. He lead a wonderful life, loved from a very young age by a spectacular family, teaching each of the kids before being loaned out to a family friend and eventually being loaned to us. He knew love his whole life and while we miss him more than words can express, we are blessed to have been a part of his life story! He is loveingly buried at SFEC under the giant oak tree to watch over future lessons.
